South Queensway

The first Enviro21 Innovation Park...

The first Enviro21 Innovation Park is under construction at South Queensway on the outskirts of Hastings (see locations page). Here we are creating high quality business premises of striking architecture - letting now.

The business units

We are initially building four high quality business units, offering between 540m2 (5,782 sq ft) and 1,023m2 (11,009 sq ft) of production space with integral offices.

They will be completed in early 2010, with further units to follow.

With a wide range of sustainable features, the business units will have low carbon emissions. Each unit will offer an estimated:

  • 25% fewer CO2 emissions than latest Building Regulations standards
  • 87% fewer emissions from heating & hot water (compared with gas boilers).

Running with great energy efficiency, the business units will also offer low operating costs. Please get in touch to discuss what this could mean for you.

Further units will follow, with plans for a total of 8,833m2 (95,078 ft2) of business space on the South Queensway site.

Business units are available on FRI lease terms. Alternative freehold or long leasehold sales may be considered.

The Park

The South Queensway Park is being developed to make best use of natural resources - sun, wind and water. The buildings promote natural ventilation and solar control, to reduce water consumption and to maximise energy efficiency.

The Park will also incorporate a two-megawatt wind turbine.

Companies at the South Queensway Enviro21 Park can tap into high powered internet services via ADSL2+ or fibre broadband - with speeds up to 1Gbps - at competitive prices and with a choice of provider.

In addition, the South Queensway site incorporates The Exchange - an exhibition and meeting venue with a sustainable restaurant designed to serve the business community. The Exchange will act as a focal point for business collaboration and knowledge transfer.
